The best seafood that we had in Dunedin. The seafood curry is a wonderful creation with plenty of flavor and just the right amount of spice. The garlic prawns have a fun presentation on a hanging skewer and do no disappoint. The mussels were fresh and well-seasoned. Great food at a good price. more
A pleasure,, dining here early evening in March 2009 -- The Reef was warmly recommended by other travellers I'd met (on the Banks Peninsula), and they were right: very good seafood & accompanying dishes, attentive yet unobtrusive service, lovely decor, excellent value. Would gladly return, especially if the same chef is in the open-view kitchen. more
My wife and I had dinner here once this March during our trip to Dunedin. We both ordered the fresh fish of the day -- a local white fish and it was good! The wine list was limited but OK.
