The food at Redcliff was fantastic, the venison with kumara was truly memorable. We did have to wait at the bar for about 30 minutes before being seated, so its probably a good idea to get some drinks. It was probably rather pricy for locals at NZ$30 per dish, but it was a great value for those exchanging USD. more

Busy restaurant, with lively atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Highlight was the quality of food - the venison was truly memorable. Overall, a top class dining experience at a reasonable price. If you're in Te Anau, then eat here - but book beforehand to avoid disappointment. more
