The Boardwalk Restaurant has now been closed and replaced by a Thai restaurant. Good luck to the new owners!
The salt and pepper squid was to die for. Even managed to sneak some into my youngest sons dinner, who does not like seafood at all! Great location, amazing views, friendly staff, and above all, delicious food!!
All the bad reviews here are correct, the owner is arrogant, the food expensive and very average. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food, and the order was wrong. It was not even busy. Very disappointed, should have believed the reviews.
Don't let the beautiful location fool you, this place exudes arrogance. Went there for a quiet early dinner. Met by a fat man in an open neck shirt, half unbuttoned, gold chains and big sun glasses. Was seated and waited on efficiently, meals were up there in price, but sounded great on the menu. The reality was different, the wagyu... More
I have to say that the food was magnificent, but somewhat expensive, and for that amount of money the helpings could have been larger.
Been going to Port for 15 years. A surprise selection for only $35 a head came up with an amazing menu with allergies catered for in the menu.... Magnificent food, recommended wine selection and great service.... Took my husband for his birthday and we enjoyed very much. Looking forward to going back!
We were greeted by the overbearing owner who proceeded to inform my two teenage children that he had given our table away to 'the arabs' as they offered $1000 for it. Great start and somewhat offensive to my two children who have been raised to respect all people, regardless of their ethnicity. We took up the owner's offer of the... More
The position is magic, overlooking the beautiful Hastings river and wharf with boats moored. Lovely, bright, modern and clean with a indoor outdoor feel with folding glass doors which open out to give you protection from the sun yet you experience the breeze and freshness of being outdoors. Ordered the beef cheeks with green beans, received tender tasty beef cheeks... More
Went here for an early lunch and we were graciously introduced to the restaurant and menu by the owner. He successfully up-sold on every course. The king prawns were a hit! Location is second to none..
