One of the few reasonable places to eat dinner in Albany. Great on a cold night, busy on weekends. Gastro-pub fare well done.
- Albany Downhill
- West Cape Howe National Park
- Bibbulmun Track Day Walk - Albany Wind Farm to Mutton Bird Island
We had a drink there before dinner and it was a quirky place. It was quiet because it was early but the place itself had lots of character and I think it would be a great place to have a drink later when it's busier.
Often meet here with friends for a hot drink. Lovely place to relax by the fireplace and take in the decor - I feel transported to another place and era. Quite pricey if you want more than a coffee though.
We returned to Liberte at the London Hotel multiple times whilst staying in Albany for a week. The best cocktail list and cocktails I've ever had, the most beautiful building and decor. Was very very quiet every time we went in which was a shame. If only there were Hotels like this in Perth!

This Cafe is beautifully designed in a Louis IV style. The coffee is delicious and the casual dining is a joy. There are lovely little cosy lounge areas where you can sit and relax over coffee with friends.
Exceptional service and good wine. They also serve coffee and cakes or have a cocktail in the cocktail bar. Very old historical building and the rooms are filled with old over stuffed chairs. It was quirky and a bit different which is why we returned there twice in one day!
I love the decor, but then I'm a frankophile. Prices for drinks are over the top in my opinion, couple of nice friendly bar staff. a few especially the male who appears to be in charge could do with smarening up, on my several visits his clothing was filithy. The whole place could do with a good cleaning. The coffee... More
