This small and very welcoming little bistro provided an eating experience to remember. The staff were friend, welcoming and very efficient without being over attentive. We thought that the owner and head chef taking time out from the kitchen to visit each table was a particularly nice touch. The food was simply outstanding and incredible value for money. You would... more

Our first visit to this restaurant was a few weeks ago when friends from London visited and it was chosen because of the reviews on tripadvisor. How we congratulated ourselves for this discovery. Having eaten at the best restaurants that London has to offer we concurred that Bistro des Z'Artes would sit comfortably amongst them in terms of the food... more

This was a new restaurant for us,with all of the choice we have in the area. However this is worth a visit if you like great food at reasonable prices. The menu gave us a good choice and the taste experiences were fantastic. Best Sea Bream, I have experienced, and the desserts were amazing. more

Bistro Des Z'Artes has to be one of the best restaurants I have been to in the past few years. A fantastic selection of delightful treats, delicately prepared by a very passionate patron chef, Jonnie. The atmosphere and ambience gives a really warm and homely feel to the experience. A wonderful night out with the family or a loved one,... more

We all enjoyed our meal at the Bistro des Z'Artes so much, we went back and still had plenty of choice from the excellent and well balanced menu. The restaurant is a delightful conbination of traditional and modern with original art work on the walls. In fact, the art changed between our two visits adding even more interest to the... more

We celebrated my wife's birthday here last night. A table of 10 and the chef prepared a special tasting menu that had all of us groaning with pleasure at the end of dinner. Wonderfully inventive food and great variety, we had rabbit liver pate, octopus carpaccio, mushroom cappuccino, beetroot, orange and vodka sorbet, pumpkin risotto, chicken cooked in beer and... more

The first thing I noticed was how small but cozy the restaurant was. It is situated in a small side alley from the main road to Quarteira, a nearby village by the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered starter, mains course and dessert and the recommended African wine. For my little 8 year old nephew I asked... more

This restaurant deserves the number 1 slot in Almancil. We had an amazing meal, fantastic local fillet beef, the starters were also really good. We were given complimentary appetizers to start which were exceptionally good. Having eaten in a few local restaurants I would have to say that this restaurant leaves all the others standing. The service is excellent, relaxed... more
