Our hotel recommended Ambiente and it was the perfect choice for our tastes and location. When you are in Prague, the last thing you want to do is to eat...in an italian restaurant! You want to eat the goulash, the sausages, taste the beer...but this is the best exit from the repeated Czech food. Situated very centrally in the Celetna street (next to the Old Town Square). We had a great dinner last week at Ambiente. The fresh pasta dishes were outstanding. Service was better than most we experienced in Prague. Dinner for four: 4 salads / soups, 4 entrees, 4 beers + 10% tip = 1450 CK / $85. more
This was our third short break in Prague and we ate at Ambiente Pasta Fresca every night. Loved the food! Service was also perfect and it's reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it! Booking advised as it seems to be popular with the tourists and locals. more
Found this by accident but had 2 great meals here during our stay in Prague. Excellent Italian food and good service - reasonably priced considering the location. Like many restaurants in Prague it only had a small non smoking area so I'd advise booking if this is important. more
Hard to find good food in Prague...came across this restaurant and continued to go back each day! Wonderful fresh pasta...no pizza's here! Service was great...cost was excellent...cleanliness and atmosphere really wonderful... Just go...and you won't be disapointed! (oh by the way - try the Ragu!!) more
went to prague with a group of teachers - found Ambiente by mistake and had lunch there every day. Got a great welcome, maybe as my husband was wearing his chelsea shirt! This is a beautiful restaurant. Ask to sit in the cellar, it marvellous. Excellent italian food and a 24 pages wine list. Service was perfect. Our best experience in Prague more
