Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous Italian restaurant in Prague. Lovely food (especially the octopus carpaccio and the seafood linguine), nice atmosphere, great staff and good value. Definitely recommend!

Tomato soup cold , home lemonade too sweet and not good "home made" quality but with artificial flavour , main courses risotto with mushrooms and tagliatelle with mushrooms oversalted. Not good value of meals and drink for "Italian " restaurant with such price levels.

Nice Restaurant in Vinohrady, nothing posh, but good atmosphere, warm welcome and extremely friendly team there. And most important: the cuisine is top and the prices are fair. Will go there again when next time in Prague.

Ran across the reviews of Per Te and wanted to try it out. Was seated in the smaller dinning room on the left hand side of the restaurant rather than the larger central room. If you want a quiet evening go for the smaller dining...room. The service was great. The chef was open to some changes to items on the menu. Opted for the sea bream with a few shrimp added on the side. The dish was excellent. The fish was very moist and had been fileted so there was no issue with trying to remove the bones. Nice mix of grilled vegetables to accompany the fish. The wine list (by the glass) was not huge but something for everyone's taste. They had a really great dessert menu, but I was too full from dinner, so I had to pass. Really great food, great staff with reasonable prices. Would encourage everyone who wants to explore a great restaurant away from the city center to go here. You will love the experienceMore

Fabulous evening at Per Te My wife and I were immediately made very welcome by the staff. The atmosphere was very relaxed (although formal at the same time). The food was top quality and the staff were very friendly and attentive, and good fun. We...had the mixed seafood grill for 2 and lovely Greek salad. Tiramisu was a little dry for my wife’s palette.More

This place is one of the best places I have ever visited. The wonderful and warm attitude of the team towards the guests, the intimate and cozy atmosphere, the delicious food, and reasonable pricing, made us want to visit the place every day. We stayed...in Prague for a week and we visited the restaurant three times, this speaks on its own. We tried different dishes and they were all perfectly cooked and flavored. The bread they make is simply amazing, as well as the white cake we tried! They also have an option for gluten-free, which is very good. If I go to Prague again, this is definitely a place I would visit again and I recommend it to everyone! <3 Thank you for the experience!More

Enjoyed dinner here with a friend. I like that this restaurant focuses more on meat and fish than subscribing to the usual trope of the Italian restaurant. I had scallops to start, which were excellent, and a carbonara after, which was wuite authentic. No black...pepper in the sauce which was fine because I blanketed it at the table anyway. Sauce relied a little too much on cheese for emulsification but it tasted good so it can be overlooked. House white wine was actually decent too. Decor and environment is relaxed and nice. Staff were friendly, professional talkative, although this dropped off a bit after we asked for the bill and it took very long to arrive as the waiter seemed more invested in taking shots at a table with some friends. I have no problem with a social and relaxed working environment, but priorities please 😆😂.More

... I got sick soon while eating lunch here, and I believe, with good reason, that the minestrone soup was to blame. In fact, the manager (?) said it had been prepared the day/night before and had been "stored in a refrigerator" overnight. Of course,...soup should be prepared fresh daily, especially when its base is the (often poor) local tap water! (I have a background in public health.) Even worse was the attitude of the staff-waiter and "manager," who couldn't have seemed to have cared less. And I was still charged the entire price of the lunch, including the soup--something responsible restaurants wouldn't do! Though Per Te can offer good-to-excellent pasta dishes, the risk of intestinal distress must be weighed against this! In addition, the only people in the restaurant wearing masks were myself and my friend--no staff or other guests, who may or may not have been vaccinated....More

The food was excellent but on the other side I would not visit the restaurant. Why? because the waiter was really rude and making faces like everything about this work annoys him. It is such a pity that this happens to wonderful restaurants which offers...an excellent food. Thank you so much for food tho!☺️More

I had just arrived in Prague pretty much past dinner hour. I discovered this restaurant just a block from my accommodations. Lucky me. Even though it was right before their closing, I was warmly welcomed and served a wonderful dinner. Service and food were great....Wish I lived in the neighborhood for frequent return visits.More

Get shocked? Hahahahaha..."Yes!" Why? This is the story XD. I went for an escape single trip to Prague. I arrived in 9th October 2019 around 12pm by a plane. I got picked up by the driver from an airport transfer company that had been booked...through TripAdvisor. He took me to the address of restaurant i would like to had my lunch at. Guess what? XD the restaurant wasn't there but i had to step out from the car. It was my first time i travelled to Prague alone. All what i had planned before was a little bit mess because of this. Off course i got shocked. I had to change my first plan that i had already planned. I activated directly my TripAdvisor account and searched the lunch place using "nearby" menu. It showed many restaurants & cafes. I decided to go to "PER TE Restaurant" ;*. Shocked... tired... disappointed... were completely my things at that moment. Hungry... off course...i came to the restaurant, an old guy smiled and welcomed me sooo warm and nice :). He broke my shock and changed it in to a happy feeling. Their services, before i ordered the foods were already cured my tiredness & disappointment ;). The place was sooo cozy, clean & great. I felt safe eventhough i was alone, because they took care of me good even my stuffs when i need to go to a rest room. It was a little bit cold. I started to order a vegetable soup, something warm. It was a simple thing but nice. Then i ordered chicken cesar salad and white wine. They were very nice. I got a glass of white wine free as a warm guest for them. The price was good. PER TE... thank you for being my "Shock Breaker" ;*More

The menu was varied probably a bit more expensive than we would go for but not un affordable . We did just have a main course and a beer. Our choice were Grilled calamari and have to say it was one of the most perfect...cooked Calamari i have ever had anywhere in the world. The other choice was a steak which again was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Service was faultless, only downside was dreadful pop musicMore
