This is on the waterfront and must be a hot spot in the summer. Quiet when we went there. We had lunch which was soup and bread basically. Was good but nothing special,
Beautiful setting on theriver, cute old style decor inside. We sat inside in a raised little nook to try the Goldwasser hot toddy. Delicious, lovely stop off - food looked great but we didn't get chance. Plenty of cocktails and heaters to sit outside... best place to get a true Goldwasser experience .
We had the pleasure of dining here 2 weeks ago and this is absolute a top class restaurant. From the contact on email before we came all through our dinner, the service and staff was really good and always alert. Try the Lobster soup, Scampi and Angus steak which was awsome. The Mojitos are also really good. We are definitely... More
Lovely multilevel restaurant on the waterfront with lots of tiny eating nooks so you almost feel like you have the place to yourself. I ate a lovely salmon and haloumi salad and we had the obligatory Goldwasser plus a few 'Wściekły pies' (a scrummy shot of raspberry syrup, tabasco and vodka) to finish. The staff were attentive and friendly, even... More
Whilst the location is a bit touristy, this restaurant has great local food (good selection of fish and meat, mostly grilled) and the atmosphere is really nice. Worth a visit when in Gdansk.
Steaks, wine and cheese platter were great value at this location, but the level of service was not as expected. Slow and not very hospitable. Also, only one working restroom for a restaurant of this size is not enough. People were qeueing mostly all night.
The restaurant has a worm atmosphere, the dinner is Very good and The service is quickly and nice. The prize are in line with the Quality of the food and are also in line with the other restaurants. The speciality of the restaurant is the duck cooked in polish Style. I can suggest this Place without any doubt.
excellent food, great drinks, the soups especially are recommended, delightful "old Baltic" ambiance, friendly English-speaking service, though more expensive than most places on the harbour
Our kelner was very unprofessional and put herself in focus instead of the guests. She was slow and did not give any good service. The food was on the lower range of what is expected from such a place. We was not happy with Goldwasser.
I am a Norwegian and i am living in Gdansk. I have been visiting Goldwasser a couple of times and, i have visited many other restaurants in Gdansk. The only "impressive" with Goldwasser is their terrble high prices compared to similar restaurants. The service is not very good and the food is very poorly made. The service is slow and... More
