Its such a shame that I found the food in the Slovenian outback to be so unimaginative and without flair, when I know its not. I think I was just unlucky. Here, big fat portions of 'peasant' food, but without the quality ingredients and succulent flavours. Homemade but without the necessary care. Hearty, but not worth driving to.

Home made food: from soup, stew and excellent fish. Food is prepared in local way, very tasteful.Next time come again.

very hard to find but definitely worth looking for. we did not expect so the it was even better. every dish we ordered was great. try and order the local dishes like the buckwheat (ravioli) and the happy bohini (steak with cheese ) you may expect about 40 min before having your food, but worth waiting for. try seat outside.... Ate here on three separate occasions with my wife, son and his girlfriend. We all enjoyed the great 'home-made' feel, and the location and excellent service made for an even better experience. If you stay anywhere around Bohinj, come and eat here - you won't be disappointed

Good food. Try daily prepared stew. Also very good home made sweets.
