We ate here based on favorable reviews in trip advisor and had a late lunch. It is oppisite the Dohany Synagogue in Budapest and a great plavce to go after a tour. The food was wonderful Italien and the advantage to a late lunch was that we didn't feel guilty just having a salad and pasta with no main dish.... more

Very much in support of the other reviews . . . we had absolutely excellent food (really, really good), and even better service (freindly, courteous, quietly discreet, but also happy to engage with us and talk about Hungarian vs. Italian wines, to explain the dishes and how they are made, etc.) Not the cheapest option around, but really, really good. more

Not just 'an Italian', this smart but relaxed restaurant offers a Hungarian take on Italian classics. So risotto comes studded with flakes of goose liver and flavoured with Tokaj, and alongside the proseccos and soaves stand some of the most delectable Hungarian wines around.
