I have been here few times, always had the same impression. This is an expensive, elegant restaurant in the downtown. The food portions are relative small in Italian standards, but very tasty. During our short 3-day visit to Budapest, our hotel concierge recommended Fausto's as a good Italian place, and we loved it so much that we returned the next night, even though we normally like to try something different each night. Faustos is a great restaurant with the wow factor, a little pricey but the quality of the food and wine is excellent. My husband and I do not recommend Fausto's. We both are adventurous eaters yet had difficulty finding something on the menu that we wanted...unusual combinations.
