Lovely food, being vegetarians we had a lot of options. We went here twice. The vegetable korma and the sweet nan were my favorites. Not expensive at all. And very nice service. We got taking about Indian food after our meal and the waiter came out with extra dishes to taste. Super friendly!

We heard so many nice things about this restaurant but it was not a good experience. My chicken dish was not good, it was if the chicken was boiled and then dipped in the sauce which had no spice or flavour. My husband's meal was a little better. My family and i visited this restaurant while on holiday in Tavira and thought it was fantastic The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fab, so much so we went on 3 seperate ocassions within out 10day holiday.

I like my Indian food and eat it regularly. A good Indian in Tavira would definitely appeal to me but this restaurant simply doesn't make the grade. It's modern and smart, but the food is very mediocre, and the price of an accompanying beer outrageous. The Punjab Palace, (just yards way) is only average but a much better bet.

Service was phenomenal, they accommodated our request (wanted spicier food) waiter even told us we ordered too much food, wouldn't get that suggestion in Canada.. We drove out of our way to visit this restaurant twice. A must visit.

Used the Kohinoor quite a few times on my recent trip to Tavira , nice friendly staff , good service , great food and drink served in very clean surroundings . Only one small gripe , why is there no beef or pork on the menu ? But , overall a good value and tasty meal

Visited in september 2012 found the food to be of average quality had to wait a long time between starter and main not many people in so could not undrestand why dissapointing when it did arrive, didn't visit the restaurant on my return to Tavira feb. 2013.

The meal was satisfactory but perhaps a little predictable and the meat was not as tender as some. However if you want a change from Portuguese food then we can recommend that you visit here!
