Our last day of vacation we stopped here for a late lunch and couldn't have been more pleased with the stop. The food was delicious - even the kids meal. And it was a cool fun restaurant. Will for sure go back when we return to Disneyland. more

As always, sans vegas, House of Blues offered up a great show and spendid mediocrity elsewhere. The staff was friendly and helpful, but as always they seem to be overly relaxed... maybe that is the plan who knows. We ate at House of Blues four times over a period of a week. The food was consistantly excellent. This is not mediocre food, its hot, freshly prepared and not boring. Everything we ordered was enjoyed. The swampcookie for dessert is DELICIOUS! Service was great. more

First of all, "House of Blues" really just describes the decor and a few names of menu items. For the most part, it's your run-of-the-mill theme restaurant with the somewhat sub-par food you'd expect at Downtown Disney. We were at Downtown Disney in the middle of the week and the only place where there wasn't a wait over an hour long was if we ate at the bar (i.e. fight for open chairs) at House of Blues. As buffets go, you could do better eating somewhere nice and then go see a good gospel group. The buffet, even for Southern cooking, was a joke.
