Though this restaurant has been around aspen forever, I can't seem to figure out how it not only stays open, but stays busy. Quiet evening - staff anxious to move on. The food was bland - even the chocolate cake was not sweet - I could picture it as a fun place to go with a group of friends but it was definitley no romantic - and the food was only mediocre. more

dont go! they tried to overcharge us for 20 dollars for "miscallenous food", they charged us drinks we did not order. adding insult over injury, they charged 50% tip for the drinks!! they did not even apologize us and food was mediocre! I suspect they add "miscallenous food" to all of the customers' bills hoping that a few of them... more
We never charge 50% Tip. 18 % is tops for parties of 6 or more. Misc. Food is for specials which are not on the menu. Sorry for the customer but the statement is not correct. Harald
Been there last Night and got to know the new Owner. Great chef and fantastic service. The food was exceptional. The place is totaly transformed. Bravo The Wienerstube is back and better than ever. more

We were in Aspen for 8 days and were looking forward to trying this restaurant, which we would have done if it had been open on any of these days. more
