We ate here twice during our trip and had a fab meal both times. The service was great and so was the food/wine. We took our 3 young children and felt very comfortable doing so. The live music was a nice addition to the evening. more

if your don't go here at least for lunch you will miss out on the best in Aspen......new management makes this the best food in Aspen for lunch and while I haven't had the dinner , that must be as good or better....very reasonably priced and extremely prompt and courteous service more

I loved the Tavern! It is located right at the bottom of Apsen mountain beside the gondola. The food is fantastic! Make sure you sit inside and go often as their whole menu is great. The fondu is delicious, and try as many of their daily specials as possible. more

Stopped here for lunch since it's right at the base of the Gondola. The food was great, but the service was possibly the worst I have ever seen. And the table next to me was treated worse. It took 20+ min for them to get water and a napkin. more

Read some medium reviews on this place but we liked it. The food was very good; the panna cotta is to die for-similar to Travigne, their sister restaurant in Napa. The servers were a bit sullen but all-in-all, good for an outdoor lunch. more

Right at the bottom of the lift, you can sit on the deck and watch the skiers, or inside. All four of us enjoyed our meals, the price moderate considering it's Aspen.
