I've been a visitor for 30 years and have eaten at Boss just about every visit. Last two visits were unforgiveable. I'll never eat there again. Poor service and worse than average food. What's happened to this wonderful restaurant. more

Prior to tasting Apalachicola Bay oysters at Boss Oyster, Tomalas Bay Pacific oysters were my favorite. We had a dozen Apalachicola Bay oysters on the half shell and dozen with bacon, tabasco sauce, jalapeno peppers, and cheese. Wow! Recently remodeled, Boss is a nice place to sip a beer and scarf some raw oysters while gazing over the shrimp boats in the bay. We stopped for lunch at Boss Oyster, a quaint waterside restaurant and scored an outdoor table right on the railing complete with ceiling fan. Went with a local friend and loved it. You must have the Grouper chowder. The three of us had flounder,oysters and a oyster po boy. All were excellant as was our young blond waitress. Service was great. Forget about the complainers, they well never be happy anywhere. more
