We just returned from an excellent vacation at Cape San Blas. Last Wednesday night the adults all got a night out and the older kids baby sat for us. We had no idea where to go..but drove in to Apalachicola and spotted the lights outside of the Magnolia Grill. What a treat! There were 6 of us..3 families..and we all... more

If we didn't have senses of humor with us the evening would have been a disaster. Sunday, when we checked in to our vacation rental, Chef Eddie was at the Real Estate Office handing out samples of his delicious soup. From that sampling, which later became thought of as "the Hook", and he mentioned his Early Bird Specials - which... more

We had a wonderful dining experience. Food was great and so was service. Yes, there was feral cats outside that Chef loves and feeds at the end of the night, they know what a treat it will be, lol. (Chef explain how he has caught as many as he can and has had them fixed, so cut down on all... more

This place is a bit slow getting food to your table, but it's usually worth the wait. Try the Rack of Lamb. It's my favorite thing on the menu. They have nightly dinner specials also. And frequently they have live music or some other event going on. I like the coziness of the different dining rooms. more

Eating at Chef Eddie’s was a real disappointment in June 2009. We were so looking forward to this meal as our Fodor’s guide book said this was one of the best dining experiences to be had in the region. We were greeted at the front door by at least 8 stray/neighborhood cats sitting in the circle drive as if waiting... more

We had a blast!!! Myself and four friends had dinner here in February and it was above reproach. I had the Rack of Lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Sharon had the Ponchatrain...fresh dolphin or mahi mahi and the cream sauce was to DIE for. Our waitress was very nice and we never even had to ask for water.... more

Visited this restaurant the week of September 6, 2008, Wednesday evening around 6:30. We were the only customers for awhile. Later, 4 more folks came in. It is a very quiet and uniquely decorated place. The food was well presented although the Chef has a unique take on some of his menu items. For instance, I ordered a cup of... more

It is our 3rd year visiting this wonderful restaurant! You feel as if you were at home ... to us. This is the best place to eat in Apalachicola, Florida by far! The atmosphere is devine and if you need help in ordering you will have appropriate assistance. Chef Eddie always comes out to greet you and he and his... more
