Recently returned from a trip to Apalach. My wife and I had dinner at Owl Cafe, and we highly recommend it to other travelers. Excellent food, great service, and very comfortable atmosphere. On our next trip to the area, we will certainly return to the Owl Cafe. more

Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Nice view of the river on the 2nd floor. Fabulous homemade salad dressings and bread. I had an excellent soft shell crab special. Others had the grouper, triple tail and scallops and chicken. All wonderful. Will return. more

Lovely old building, friendly professional service, impressive wine list, delicious and well-prepared fresh seafood. Entrees come with salad, potatoes or rice and steamed vegetables, which seemed old-fashioned, but provided good value. Though all three of us were stuffed, we managed to share a creamy, light caramel custard to end the meal on a perfect note. more
