I believe the name of this restaurant is actually Hode's (not Bode's). We have been here on 2 trips to Belize. We have found the food to be satisfactory and the service to be cautiously friendly, but it is not our first choice in San Ignacio. more

When in Rome do as the Romans do... We walked by this place several times when heading into San Ignacio from our resort (Midas). We'd always give it a look but never gave it a second. After visiting Xunatunich, our tour bus stopped off here. The food was great. My daughters gobbled it up and joined the clean plate club. It was very relaxing for adults and the kids! more

My husband and I spent several days in San Ignacio. We loved Hode's Place. We ate there several times during our trip. The food was great and portions were large.
