During my recent stay in Copan Ruinas, I was fortunate enough to dine several times at Twisted Tanya's and book a couple of tours. The food was top-notch, better than most high-end restaurants in large cities. Twisted Tanya's is expensive for the area, but the dishes are prepared very well with fresh, creative meals. The service is very friendly and Tanya is very helpful with information about the area, and can book you for anything else you want to do in the rest of the country. Twisted Tanya's bar and restaurant is run by Tanya and Jennifer 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. The bar and restaurant is an open air establishment with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is no doubt Tanya made our trip to Copan even better!! We were there in December (08). I booked our transport from the airport to Copan (private van) through her at Copan Connections (office below Twisted Tanya's)... She was quick to reply back to all of my emails w/ questions & confirmations. Our driver was at the airport waiting... more

After a long day of riding the bus we arrived at Copan bus station about 9:30 pm. Late for our cab back to our hotel! We thought we were going to have to walk to our hotel when Tanya walked up and greeted us. My wife had Tanya make all our arrangements. She had waited over an hour at the... more

You've got to check out Twisted Tanya's while in Copan..You'll find a great atmosphere, excellent array of drinks and a delicious menu. We had a blast here and were also able to plan a custom tour package with the help and guidance of Tanya herself! more
