I absolutely love the ambience at La Maison and typically spend a minimum of two hours there, sometimes three. The old Victorian home which houses the restaurant has been exquisitely preserved and I love to relax in the wine bar (on your right when you enter) as opposed to the main dining room (to the left, more formal). The Beef... more
I love this restaurant and usually go there to eat about once a month. What I always do (and recommend) is eating in the tapas/ wine bar side of the restaurant (to your right as you enter, called Veritas), rather than the formal dining room. The atmosphere is more relaxed (you sit on couches with coffee tables), and the tapas... more
My husband and I went to La Maison to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. We had a reservation at 6:30 and specified about our anniversary when we were confirmed on the phone. When we arrived on time in the lobby, we waited over 5 minutes before we were greeted. The atmosphere was very quaint - fresh flowers on the tables,... more

One of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Fantastic! more
An excellent dining experience. Reservations are definately required for this equisite restuarant. A lovely historic house has been turned into a beautiful restautant. Come and be impressed. A definate unique dining spot. more

We ate in what was the living room of this 1855 home, a spacious room with three tables. Service was excellent. The only downside was the dreadful music played over the speakers... more
La Maison is a marvelous French restaurant off Telfair at 14th (I think). The bar area is enchanting, with a great selection. The restaurant and bar are in an old home. Surprisingly, it was very calm and quiet in the restaurant. Gleaming linens and flowers on the tables. The Chef makes himself known, as he checks on the diners. Service... more
