This place is about to close. I recently went here. I have been coming to this place since I was 10.....I am now 30. The management is poor, the owner is not customer friendly. Never again! Waitress rude, rushed, and too many mistakes. Food was crap. Loud and rowdy crowd. Tried to have a romantic dinner. Oh well. Stopped at Quiktrip since I wasn't allowed to finish my meal. Waitress took it before I was done. more
Fine dining, or bar food. Nice, but small seating area outside. Decent food. more
Tony's used to be the go-to place for a nice fancy dinner with a short drive for us. Not anymore. The food is too pricey for the quality and the atmosphere isn't what it used to be either. There is a problem recently with many restaurants in the Alton area closing their doors- so watch this space... more
Our food was lukewarm and just OK as far as flavor. The noise level was bad and the tables are crowded. The booths have a squeeze if you want to fit into them. A local favorite that, as of late seems to be resting on it's reputation. Generally speakingthey offer up a fine menu with a handful of favorites. But for a local (relatively high-end) place named Tony's to serve a flavorless pasta by waitresses that have no idea what a speghetti spoon might be is a problem for me. more
