One of those cool, off-the-beaten-path places with a classy, ambitious menu. Options generally included enough breadth to satisfy most, including several entrees that come with your choice of some 20 possible sauces. So if somebody just eats plain chicken breast, no problem. Thymes Past is located in a really neat old house on State Street. Have been by the place a million times and never noticed it before.
