Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a fabulous traditional Moroccan meal at this restaurant that also served wine and beer. Our food was excellent and arrived with everyone else's at the table. I learned that Moroccan "salads" are small dishes of beans/lentils, olives, carrots, some sort of relishes and...bread. My husband and I both had the beef tagine with vegetables. Dessert consisted of a large platter of sliced oranges with chunks of apple and bananas on them. Complimentary mint Moroccan tea is served at the end. There were few people dining at the time we were there, but there was a musician playing the traditional Arab oud (similar to a guitar) that made for nice ambiance. Price was very good for what you got. I definitely recommend this restaurant.More

This is a mediocre restaurant at best. Do not waste your time here. The food was very average and the service was unusually slow. In fact, my wife's meal came 10-12 minutes before my meal. No one came over to see if our meal was...good. The waiter did apologize for my meal being late but that was it. He then told us service was not included in the cost of the meal. One pays service based on quality of service. Enough said.More

The weather was miserable and not a day for wandering the Medina. We were hungry and ducked down a little alley near the Blue Gate and found this little gem. The food was delicious and abundant. The decor authentic and the service quick and the...server delightful. We lounged and ate till the rain stopped. Best rain diversion ever.More

From outside, this place looks very unassuming, but from inside, it is quite elegant. However, it was very cold inside. Food was ok, not as tasty as was expected. Prices were relatively high. Alcohol is served.

The waiter bows ans sirs you all the time. Live music. White table cloth. Sparrows flying around (they nest in the chandalier in the center of the hall). The food is good but you pay twice or even three times as much, as you would...pay elsewhere. For a standard set of mix of starters, tagine, fruit for desert and tea we paid 50 dollars for two.More

Our guide took us there for our first lunch in town. We were very nonplussed when we arrived. Nice place but rather faded. We chose two different menus for the four of us. The food was excellent. Beautiful vegetarian salads ( about 15 different types...of them) which we shared, each very different from each other and each as delicious as the other one. Mains were a very tasty chicken and preserved lemon tagine and a deliciously sweet and savoury pigeon pastilla. Dessert was a huge plater of perfectly sweet oranges and fresh strawberries. A very very pleasant surprise.More
