Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. It was in a quiet location overlooking a garden. The restaurant was on the third floor and was an open air balcony with a relaxed vibe. Really good range of tapas to share and very nicely cooked...mains. Highly recommend.More

Cool vibes, wish I could come back on a busier night, but good wine, good beer, lovely food and friendly staff. We had the pasta, which was cooked beautifully and generous servings. Staff let us choose the music. Definatly recommend.

It was a nice experience, it’s a oasis in the medina of Fez where you can enjoy the drinks and the delicious food. They have a variety of options. The service is amazing, the staff is lovely and warm. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you...YoussefMore

Partner & I decided to dress up & go out to eat one night. It was a little later & I was a little nervous to go wandering through the Medina at night trying to find a restaurant in the off season, so we found...this little place across the way from our apartment. It was quiet, but then again it was a Monday evening. The food was good, got the tapas special with 2 beers for my partner. Nice pairing of bar foods with the drinks. We went all the way up to the rooftop for a nice sit on the couches while enjoying the cooler air. The service was a little slow, but with the food & beer being good, & the fact that the staff speaks a combination of languages, it made for a wonderful evening out. Will hopefully come by again on our next journey through town.More

Great place for alcoholic drinks, shisha and some food. Staff was polite. Relaxed vibe on the roof terrace. Would recommend if you're tired of all of the hustle in the medina.

It is tough to find any beer in Fes, but this is very near the Blue Gate, and directly across from the Jnan Sbil garden. The terrace has a nice breeze and is shaded in some parts. It has a big selection of international liquors...available and two Morocco beers plus three or four imports. I can't speak for the food, but restaurant was clean and well kept including the restrooms.More

I highly recommend stopping by this place if you are in the area like visiting the Royal Palace gates or Jewish Quarter. It's also not far from the Blue Gate. Walk all the way up to their roof terrace, sit down on the low cushioned...seating and order drinks, plates and sweets and enjoy. We had the skewer plate, the pasta, and a lemon cake dessert together with beers. Despite being busy and only have one server, the place moved quickly and we were sat and severed swiftly. Plus you get a nice view of the ancient walls and garden across the way.More

A higher end lounge with 3 or 4 stories of tables. We sat on the roof and ordered a few beers and shared a shisha among the 4 of us. Prices are high. They are comparable with the prices we pay in Canada but I...guess it's because there aren't a lot of places that serve alcohol and shisha In fes. It's located just outside the medina. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff spoke English so we had no communication issues. Shisha was 100DH and a beer was around 50 DH for a 330ml of Casablanca local brew.More

Only place near the old center of Fes that serves alcohol, but it does so much more! Reviews were mixed on the food, but we understand that with an expanded kitchen the offering has been upgradend and we loved all the tapas and dishes we...had BOTH nights; the crowd is mixed but very relaxed, music is casual, service is apt and always with a smile, chisha’s are great too ... all making a a perfect relax night out On a roof top terrace overlooking the city gardens with friends, old and newMore

It's true ... this a chilled out place and maybe we came at the wrong time. We came one late afternoon and it was mostly just local kids smoking sheesha, giggling and carrying on. Service was quite slow and we had a couple of beers...but didn't stay for any food. We headed back to a riad in town with beers and nice view. Maybe try it at night when they have some music pumping.More

I have to admit we only came to Mezzinine because we needed a casual place to go the night we arrived in Fez and wanted a place that served liquor. But the food was REALLY good. It's more than tapas, it's a whole menu of...great bar food - burgers, pizzas, traditional Moroccan and more. They did run out of several things as we drank them, but that's probably our fault for drinking too much, ha! We sat on the top terrace. I assume from the menu that it caters to tourists but there were a couple groups up there with us that seemed like locals. Highly recommend if you need a break from the beautiful riad restaurants (it's outside the medina, but close).More

We were in Fes in January and were on the prowl for an alcoholic beverage. So we were directed to Mezzanine, and we were pleasantly pleased. The restaurant/bar is quite chilled out. We dined and had a few drinks at the roof top area, watched...the sunset and took in the vibe about the place. If you're in Fez and looking for a chilled out spot to relax and unwind after a day of touring, pop into Mezzanine for a great atmosphere and friendly staff to go with the view by the roof top terrace.More
