This restaurant was chosen by BBC1 for its “Eating in the Sun” culinary show about moroccan gastronomy and that is why we decided to give it a try whilst in Marrakesh. Good bet ! I had read great reviews about this restaurant & its charm, so booked before we arrived to get a table for 4. Staff are excellent and the setting once you've located it is fabulous, a well appointed Riad which has clearly had a lot of time, love & money spent on it. it was hard to locate as its off... more

We booked for a party of 7 at this lovely moroccan gourmet restaurant on the evening of Sept. 18th and had a superb dining experience. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ambience is utterly romantic. Definitely the perfect place to celebrate in an elegant 1001 night decor. more

The courtyard at Riad Monceau is absolutely lovely and perhaps worth a visit for that alone. We had a set "discovery" menu which as described below is quite good but not amazing. Overall perfectly adequate but I am sure there are better options out there in Marrakech at that price range. more
