My wife and I only had a couple of nights in Bangkok on our way to Phuket. We saw this restaurant in a Travel Magazine and had to give it a try. It really was a wonderful experience. At hundred dollars a head the food has to be good. It was only ok. Skip the restaurant. Go to the adjacent bar for the same view (which is superb). One Singha will cost you $10 (AUD) but you'll be laughing as you'll have made dinner plans elsewhere. Oh and wear long pants and no open shoes. more

Booked dinner here on 13/04/09 as a treat for my Boyf and I. Ambience great, views fantastic, food so, so. They give you little torches to read the menu, so a bit more subtle lighting wouldn't go a miss.... Starters were good, we have a shared platter of various things ,v nice. Been here for dinner a few times, and apart from the 1st 2-3 times, would only restrict to business dinners, as the novelty factor has worn off. We spent our last night in Bangkok here and it was the most incredible experience. You could not go and have anything but a great time. Views amazing. It is expensive but in our opinion worth it. Service was excellent, atmosphere great and food very memorable. more

Unmatchable views of Bangkok. Perfect place to grab a cocktail after dinner, before it's time to get down and party. Located on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree hotel. Dress code strongly enforced. Would suggest grabbing a cushion at the very back end of the bar (best view). more
