Gorgeous old house with teak fancy work everywhere. Food was light and flavorful, with out all the oil that can overwhelm Thai food.
This restaurant has a huge selection of internacional and thai food. We order some fried chicken with vegetables, not awsome, but good. The price is far. The best thing is the location. In the middle of the night clubs, an oásis. About three blocks of the night market. In the street just in front the mcdonalds and the burger king.... More
the restaurant is all you expect from a thai restaurant , but if you are (after a few weeks) tired of eating thai, you can get anything european as well. even a jägermeister !
Hidden down a small Soi but worth finding. The building looks stunning from the outside as the name suggests. The food is excellent and comparatively inexpensive with a very friendly owner who will come up and chat to you. definitely worth a visit
We ate here many years ago with my family, since then the restaurant has been refurbished. The restaurant is very well presented lots of Lana style touches (carved wood) seating area is large and comfortable. The service was excellent and staff attentive. Dedicated seating area for smokers. The food was poor I was disappointed in my meal, the fillet steak... More
We stumbled across this restaurant while wandering around the area near the night market. Since we had no dinner plans for the evening, we decided to stop by. The building is Lanna style and has ornate woodwork throughout. There is a lovely balance of plant life and decorative lighting. Absolutely beautiful! The menu is unexpected. First of all, they have... More
A terrific atmosphere and good food should be the recipe for a great night out. Teak House has both, but unfortunately I can't recommend it after a disappointing evening. First, this is an expensive restaurant by Thai standards, with pricing comparable to top-end hotels around the city. At these prices (which would not be out of place in North America... More
We read good reviews so decided to check it out. Very attentive service, lovely looking surroundings. Its reasonable if you eat the Thai dishes, a bit dear if you eat the others but I'm sure they are still lovely. We went twice and tried the red, green and yellow curries and all were fabulous. The chicken was incredibly soft. Definitely... More
This is one of the best curries I have had in Thailand so far, it is a beautiful place to sit and chill, and eat amazing food, the menu is vast. The service is amazing. And I am now getting off this computer to go back again now for tea, We received a 10% discount on a second visit. Boom... More
A friend from New Zealand recommended the Teak. And we weren't disappointed. A beautiful spot to have dinner. The food was divine and excellent value. The service was great. The lovely owner has a house on the property which is more grand than the restaurant. Awesome dinner. I would go back.
