It’s a chain of cafes which offer breakfast which could even please us as Germans. ;-) Nice atmosphere, good prices. So if you’re looking for breakfast don’t miss it. We have been all the time in the café at … close to Taksim and Besiktas. Btw, they have also an apartment house www.thehouseapart.com more

This was one of the worst meals I've ever had, and definitely my worst in Istanbul. The service was terrible - the waiters ignored us for ages and just slammed menus and food down on our table without even looking at us. Two other times we left because service was so slow but somehow everyone arriving... more

We stumbled into this restaurant (on Istiklal Caddesi in the Beyoglu neighborhood) and had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed and slightly hip, with a light, airy interior decor and some funky lighting installations. The food was excellent, and the mint lemonade was one of the best drinks I've ever had. We enjoyed our experience so much that we... more

We stumbled upon the House Cafe for lunch after realizing that neither 360 nor Mikla were open for lunch (thanks for nothing Lonely Planet). We didn't regret it though. The mint lemonade was amazing and my husband and I both enjoyed a much needed lunch in the lovely setting that is the House Cafe. We loved it so much, in... more

The House Cafe in Ortakoy has the best pizza in Istanbul! There is also a fantastic view of the Bosphorus. I recommend going at night. more

they'd make it to my favourite if they'd just manage to serve a dish not in two hours and just bring what you ordered... more
