Just above Sunset restaurant, Ulus 29 is a major competitor. The restaurant has not changed their food category since they opened, which shows how successful it is (although they have added Sushi, to match their neighboring competitor). Food, service, setting are impeccable. The Bosphorus scenery is very good. The menu is French, Turkish but with a twist, and always interesting.... more

i was in istanbul for the first time and i had dinner at Ulus 29!can't forget the view , in summer tables are outside,wonderful turkish food ,turns into a club at late hours, still popular, chic more
