Two friends recommended this restaurant - we found the food a little bit disappointing - I had Kosheri - the rice, lentils and pasta dish but no spicy tomato sauce which accompanies this dish in most egyptian restaurants. This restaurant is located in the Zamalek area in Cairo just a 5 min walk off of the main road where Cairo Marriott is located. The food is delicious (personally would recommend just going with a load of mezze) and the restaurant itself - the one in Zamelek - was pretty cool, but the service wasn't the most friendly. And I would definitely recommend booking, or go about an hour before your going to be hungry! more
