We went here on the recommendation of a friend and although hard to find, especially as our directions were next to the Canadian Embassy, which we thought would make it very easy, but make sure you go to the Front entrance of the embassy not the rear entrance where most taxis take you. One of the best venues I have been to in Cairo. The Lebanese food is above average but not by strides. Service is very nice and prices very decent like anywhere in Cairo. The atmosphere of the place is great with lots of young Egyptians enjoying their time. more

I had my birthday dinner at Taboula. The food was fantastic and inexpensive by western standards. Service was great, also. The restaurant was very busy and had a casual atmosphere. We tried to eat there later in our trip, but couldn't get a table. I recommend getting a reservation. more

Taboula serves excellent Lebanese food. Like Abu Al Sid, which belongs to the same owner, it has a evry nice decoration. However the place is less popular and the atmosphere is a bit too quiet. Most clients are expats and rich Egyptians living in the nearby resident neighborhood of Garden City, 5 minutes from downtown. more
