The park and this meal was a highlight to our Cairo experience. Request a table at the front of the terrace on the right if possible. Make time to walk the park after eating. It's absolutely worth the trip. I think it's the crown jewel of the city. more

We went through tripadvisor for this restaurant (the cafe was shut as we went later for dinner). The food was fantastic, enourmous portions, fantastic value, breathtaking views across the city, very romantic. I highly recommend this place for a romantic meal with a stroll around the park afterwards. The perfect end to a perfect holiday, 5 stars more

This splendid restaurant in beautiful Al Azhar Park probably has the best view in Cairo looking across tranquil gardens and fountain pools to the citadel. Come at sunset. The food is simply the best we had in Egypt, with largely Levantine cuisine and very reasonably priced for the excellent quality. The service is also very good by Egyptian standards. more
