We were taken there by our guide as a break from touring the pyramids and Sphinx. Chicken was delicious; unfortunately we were not that hungry and there was a lot of food - we didn't order anything. We would probably not make a special trip. Service was perfunctory. Cats were cute. more

We arrived at Andrea Restaurant after a busy morning viewing the ruins at Saqqara and Memphis. The smells of grilling chicken and baking bread assaulted our hungry nostrils and empty stomachs. Traditional simple Egyptian Fair. Need to get a taxi from Giza but well worth it. No alcohol served but the food is a real pleasure and some of the tastiest we had during the whole time we were in Egypt. more
