I am not going to do this restaurant down but please be warned it gets the top reviews from people who insist on eating English food "just like back home" !! Please try the local cuisine at other restaurants it is fantastic and surely part of the reason for travelling to these countries. more

You cannot go wrong visiting this restaurant whilst you are in Luxor and you will find the staff more than helpful excellent food and even better you do not need a bank loan to eat here. more

Debbie the owner of The Lantern is a real Gem. Nothing is to much trouble for her. The restaurant has a very welcoming feel and the staff are very attentive,the food is superb.
