Visited the restaurant for the 3rd time,it has always been great, food, drinks, and service. On my last visit,I enjoyed everything, but was disappointed to find out that the management doesn't allow waiters and waitresses to get tips on card. . I mean we tip via cards in all...the restaurants we go. The waitress didn't give a clear explanation to this.. I felt bad,but will bring cash next time.More
Dear Carlhessss Thanks for visiting us once again and giving us such a good review on our food, drinks and service. We were, however, bitterly disappointed in you rating us down from 5 stars on a previous review to 3 stars on this one based...More

Absolutely beautiful garden setting , Food was top notch … as were the drinks Reasonably priced . Very clean , great service. Easy location to get to from airport hotel where I stayed cost 800 ksh by Uber and took 40 mins. Highly recommend when...visiting Nairobi to eat here .More
Thank you for the lovely review 😊 we look forward to serving you again if ever you are back in Nairobi 🤗
We were group of 3 dining here. Positive side - the appetisers were good - duck rolls, sweet potato samosas and fish ceviche Garden was very nice, staff were friendly Drinks - ordered 2 aperol spritz - waited over 20 mns for it. Wasn’t good....Gave feedback but 2nd was not any better - lacking taste in aperol or Prosecco: I’m a regular with this cocktail but the most tasteless Food - pork was over cooked and dry. Quiche was ok nothing to shout about. Staff forgot to bring the towel for our business guest and we were also missing one napkin They were clearly overwhelmed and lack the attention to detail once the place starts filling up. The smiles also disappeared. By 945 they seem to be in a hurry for us to finish and leave which I did. Maybe it’s just not our day. Should have stuck with just startersMore
Thank you for visiting and for taking the time to leave us some constructive feedback. It was an unusually busy night when you visited and as you deduced, we were quite overwhelmed by the turnout. We did our best under the circumstances and I sincerely...More

Thank you for your lovely review Chrispine M - it means the world when our efforts are recognised - we look forward to serving you again when you are back in Nairobi 😊
An absolutely terrible experience beginning to end. I can not believe this is a highly rated restaurant. We were seated at a table with no dinner plates or napkin (fine, not a big deal). We ordered 4 starters and 2 main dishes to share. The...pepper steak was the first thing on the table and the waiter removed all the knives and replaced it with a steak knife- which we had to use for all the dishes. We then had to ask for dinner plates. Then we had to ask for napkins. The food was mediocre at best but the service was so terrible that it make everything so much worse. The waiter brought out the food in no order, didn't know how to clear dishes and was highly disorganized. By the time we were done with the starters the steak was ice cold! The calamari was so thin it was basically just batter, the tuna tartare was falling apart, and the red snapper was overcooked. Once we were done with both the main courses, the waiter brought out a starter. And this is supposed to be the best spot in Nairobi?More
What an unfair review considering Josphat your waiter who has been part of the team for many years and is extremely professional and competent was only serving your food as you requested it ie. everthing to come out as it’s ready, not the usual way...More
Very unique and authentic set up. The staff is also very professional and they offer a variety of delicious meals.
Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave us such a great review Moran - we look forward to serving you again soon 😊
I had a fabulous lunch on the terrace at this restaurant. The red snapper was excellent and the three portion dessert was wonderful. The service was friendly and efficient and the wine and craft beer were also good. If you haven’t been here before, it’s...about time.More
Thank you for your lovely review - we look forward to serving you again some ‘thyme’ soon 😊
Went there for lunch with friends. The food is lovely, I enjoyed myself and I would definitely recommend it.
Thank you for your wonderful review and high recommendation Beatrice - we look forward to serving you again soon 😊
Menu was great and unusual. Most of us ordered New York strip and it was superb. Deserts didn't seem to attractive. Suggest to book in advance as they were busy
Thank you for visiting and taking the time to write such a lovely review 😊 you must try our desserts next time you visit - you will be pleasantly surprised 😋
We heard that the restaurant can get busy at times, so I decided to make a reservation prior to our arrival in Nairobi. We arrived on time and we were seated right away. Loved the ambience! Staff were very nice and attentive. They served free...cheese bread which we enjoyed. We ordered the following: Sweet potato, butternut and ginger soup Togarashi calamari Pasta of the week Out of the three we ordered, we enjoyed the pasta the most. Forgot what it was called, but was really delicious!More
Thanks for visiting and leaving such a lovely review. The pasta you had was our ‘ Spicy Olive, Caper & Blistered Cherry Tomato Linguine with Crispy Breadcrumbs’ it features regularly on our specials menu and our regulars love it too 😊
Hadn't been here for some time, so we were quite looking forward to the visit. The positives are attentive servers with great interaction with all the patrons. Our starters were great, spicy flavourful peri peri chicken livers with toasted bread, and we licked the plate....Having said that, the food took far too long to arrive with a 76-minute wait for mains. The pepper fillet steak was rather underwhelming, but my partner's king prawns may have saved the day as they were delicious. We hope this was a one-off as the setting and ambience continue to be great. The live music on Sunday afternoon was a special treat. A bit to work on, but the menu and setting are still a drawMore
Happy to hear you enjoyed your experience overall and look forward to hosting you again!
Despite having a reservation, we had to wait for 10min to get a table. After finally being led to our table, our waiter abandoned us for at least 20 minutes or more. We sat waiting for the waiter to finally ask us our orders while...they promptly served others who fitted a certain racial profile… We complained to the owner who provided no apologies and provided excuses for their terrible service. The waiters are extremely unprofessional and untrained, rolling their eyes at us as we asked for service. This restaurant is definitely overhyped and it’s “about thyme”they get their act together!More
Dear raz b, thank you for your feedback. I do aplogise for the delay in seating you, as we tried to explain at the time, we had a busy brunch and were clearing and re-setting the table for your reservation when you came in and...More
