One problem at Yung Kee that the famous roasted goose was way too tough/hard to chew, it was very expensive and was no better than any ordinary no-star restaurant. Other food was quite ok (the ginger is quite nice) while the shrimp was excellent, roasted pork was nothing special. Another problem was the atmosphere was extremely crowded (even for Hong... more

Recommended by the concierge in our 5* hotel I thought this was going to be a meal to remember. It was but not for the right reasons. Maybe it was the jet lag but I really did not enjoy the experience. The goose was nothing special. Very boney. Dishes just came up randomly in no logical order so the roast... more

I did like the deep fried chili pork (but couldn't share the experience with my malay friends). most the dishes... more

This was my first dim sum experience in Hong Kong circa 1998. The food was amazing, considering the volume of diners on multiple floors! more

Went there because of all the hype of its roast goose. Standard has dropped and can get better ones in Singapore. We had a big group of kids with us and the captain suggested noodles and fried rice which was okay and he insisted we get a sweet & sour pork (which was horrible- tough and starchy) and a tou... more
