This restaurant was a fabulous find just off the Plaza de Armas. It only takes a small number of patrons but doesn't feel small or crowded. The owner/chef is very friendly and welcoming and his food.... is very tasty and generous servings. He has a good selection of wines that compliment the dishes. We ate at El Gusto all of the 3 nights that we were in Cusco. We initially went there because of the free wi-fi zone. But we kept coming back because of the friendly service and the delicious food. The pasta and wine special is a bargain. I am still dreaming about the fettuccine carbonarara. Yum! more

FOOD was out of this world... Atmosphere was very relaxing.... PRice was very fair.... Everything we ate was superb. The Filet Mignon was heavenly.... You cant go wrong at this place.... All of the staff was happy and freindly and very interested in us as travelers.... I wish places like this existed in the US! more

place is insane, lomo saltado is delicious - ambiance & service is great, and to top it off, the oreo shake is probably the best i've ever had, no joke. If I was you, I would eat here every day and try something new -definitely a hidden gem & would be a tragedy if you left Cusco without trying! more

We got a tip from our Inez at the Piccola Locando hotel that this was a great restaurant. It was the BEST meal I had in Peru. The homemade bread and rosemary infused oil was delicious. I ordered the saltado lomado (not quite sure of the spelling) and it was AMAZING. So fresh and delicous. The french fries were fantastic.... more
