Good food, lots to look at and a chance to spot you favorite local politician. My husband had an oreo milkshake that was really good as well as a pastrami sandwich with double meat which he liked but hoped would be bigger. I had really good crab soup and half a turkey sandwich. We went on an off day over... more

Stopped in here for a late dinner since a friend told us it was a "must do". I wasn't in the mood for diner or bar food so i went with surf/turf. Yes, admittedly, it was my own stupid choice. This place exists and is know for it's quick and easy grill food...so stick to it. The "steak" was one... more

An Annapolis tradition, to be certain. The place is a little too crammed to be considered quaint and it is hard to hear yourself talk. But the breakfast and lunch items are filling, the quality is good for the price and the service is decent. more

Chick and Ruth's was a neat find on a short trip to Annapolis. Arriving around 11:30a on a Saturday, we were surprised to find what seemed to be a long line to get a seat. However, with just a party of two, we were immediately seated. What sets this diner apart is just the nostalgia of the place. It is... more

The menu caught my husband's attention when we first arrived in Annapolis. I had doubts when I walked in the place because it really is a dive. It was pretty cramped but we managed to find a booth. It took a while for the waitress to come to our table but when she did, she apologized for it. The place... more

I loved this place. My brother goes to school nearby, so I went with him and his friends when I went to visit. They all had great things to say about it, and I really want to go back. We weren't very hungry, so we just ordered milkshakes, but it was the best milkshake that I have ever had. more

Great place. A lot of fun, and enough kitschy decor to give the faint of heart seizures. Our server was inattentive but everyone else in the place was on the ball, friendly, and picked up his slack. I was a little surprised that our sandwiches didn't come with chips (which it says on the menu, but I breezed by) yet... more

Ate here two mornings in a row on a recent Annapolis trip. We were so impressed with our meals the first day that we had to come back for seconds. Their omelets are very large and tasty, and their sandwiches are good as well (just make sure to order fries or onion rings with the sandwiches, as they do not... more

I live in Annapolis, so I venture to the historic district often. We have dined here more than a handful of times with basically the same results. The service is spotty, long waits, forgotten orders, with stereotypical "rushed" servers. Burgers are forgettable, cheesesteaks sometimes good, shakes decent, fries unremarkable, and other sandwiches just ok. Coming from Chicago where you can... more

We love this place. Great food, cramped but lively atmosphere, and fabulous service. We go there often for breakfast and want to expand to lunch next. Best are the eggs, homefries, rye toast, muffins, home made hash, bagels with nova or lox . . . come to think of it the rest of it is probably great, too, we just... more
