Ok, what's the difference between Griffin's and Federal House besides no more taxidermied wildlife on the walls? Not much. I heard the menu had changed but the interior and food seem to have remained the same. The food was a pleasant surprise! The cream of crab soup was excellent and I could taste the sherry :) more

Just looking for a place to have a drink with another couple, went in, and were hassled by the pompous i.d. checkers like we were teenagers or something! (all of us in late 30s/40). They acted like they despised our presence. Service at the bar was 50/50 bad/good depending on whom served you. At least the music wasn't so loud... more

The crab cake sandwich was good, but not great. The restaurant though is historic and charming, which I really dig. more
