Great menu. Unique for Nantucket. Fun and relaxing. Civeche was fresh and great. Carnitas were filling and well made. Service was attentive without overdoing it.
I had a pretty disappointing meal at CDM earlier this month. I have eaten there probably 20 times in the past three years and there seems to be a general slide toward lower food and staff quality while the prices remain among the highest on the island. The meals were all pretty good, and maybe it's just me, but there... More
Took the wife (Anniversary) to dinner. I took the tour (restaurant week) and was thrilled. My wife picked a dish that was a bit odd (lots of favors). The manger addressed the issue asap (comped). I would definitely go back!.
Charming Mexican-themed restaurant with absolutely delicious food! Try the wings, ceviche, corn, and churros. You cannot go wrong at this place. Waitstaff is friendly and efficient. One of our best meals in Nantucket.
My wife and loved our entire meal. Everything was first class and the best we have ever had. Drinks - classic margarita and piña colada Appetizers - calamari / pork nachos - baked nachos which were great / oysters - best cilantro sauce ever Entrees - lobster and crab relleno and crisp pork carnitas - meat was cooked great Dessert... My husband and I love Mexican and we missed this spot on our trip last year. We were so excited to visit this year and it did not disappoint. The only surprising thing was that it wasn't full of people!!! What a gem. The guacamole and chips were excellent. That tequila menu is other worldly. I had a chicken dish... More
We were a party of seven and I think by the time we were done, we has tasted half the menu! We had octopus, ceviche, grilled corn, quesadillas, croquettas, calamari, roasted peppers, chicken wings....and much more! The sauces and spices are amazing...a terrific blend of flavors in every dish! If you like tequila, there is a great selection of all... More
The mixed seafood ceviche with green "krack" sauce was so flavorful I dipped my chips into the sauce remaining in the dish until it was gone. Good fun place.
A pleasant change from the usual Nantucket menus that have a certain sameness. Charming decor, good if not great Mexican food, very attentive service at (foor Nantucket) moderate prices.
I had half a dozen meals this summer and last, and they all were wonderful. The food is both comfortable and inventive. Not your usual Mexican Restaurant. I visited the next door carry-out frequently and took home my favorite "Crispy Pork Carnitas and Mexican Corn"
