Eat downstairs. It's more charming. Upstairs felt like a Shoneys with table of kids screaming and plates of french fries on every table. Better yet, have a beer at the bar then go for dinner somewhere else. more

Good solid burger type fare - excellent buffalo wings!! and the signature brotherhood fries!!! Outdoor seating in the patio at the back of the restaurant (separate entrance and wait list) was excellent and great atmosphere. Highly recommended for a casual meal out in nantucket. more

On my first trip back to Nantucket since leaving the island 10 years ago my first choice of restaurants to have lunch at was, of course, the Brotherhood. The restaurant is in a very old building and recently redone. The food is however not as it was and where as the old french fires for example were so desired, the current ones don't seem to have that same taste. The burger =are Ok, but not really what one would think of with such a rich history here more

The menu here is varied and has some local foods. food was great, as was the service and friendly attitude. We found the atmosphere attractive and a nice change from the ordinary. more
