The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was as expected - pleasant. The service, on the other hand, was atrocious. We've been to the Earle several times, but have not received service consistent with the price. Some meals have been quite good but we've never been blown away and service can be okay or horrible. As many people go here for a romantic or special meal, I feel they must be warned that this is not always guaranteed. more
The earle is a long time ann arbor favorite specializing in provencal/ northern italian cuisne. It has the best wine list in Ann Arbor, possibly the best in Michigan/Indiana/Ohio and Steve, the sommelier, is extremely knowledgeable.
