My family and I dined at Gratzi when in town for a reunion.... Every one of us enjoyed our dinners, obviously made with quality ingredients. I have lived in Ann Arbor for about 4 years and have dined a Gratzi multiple times. The food is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. My husband and I have eaten at Gratzi many times over the years. The food is dependably decent, and they have the best pasta in town. The problem is that one is often not allowed decent time to relax and enjoy a nice meal. Several times recently we've been hustled in and out in 30-45 minutes. This is not appropriate... more

This was a terrific restaurant the first few years it was open....many years ago (late 80's?). Then the wine list was gutted and the food took a MAJOR dive. And there it has stayed. Overpriced, indifferent food, indifferent service. NO ONE local goes there anymore. more

I don't know of anyone who lives in A2 who actually eats @ Gratzi. The people who seem to love it visit here from other places and don't realize there are other places to eat. My mother-in-law wanted to try Gratzi last weekend (she worked at a high-end restaurant in Detroit for 25 years), because her cousin from Northern Michigan... more

I've lived in Ann arbor for 8 year and have been to Gratzi many times over the years. I've had some good meals there, but at least as many mediocre or downright poor ones. Their olive oil served with bread is delicious, nicely infused with herbs, and they have a very good marinara sauce. But then there were the morels... more
