The previous reviewer must have caught Palio on a bad night. My husband and I are not frequent diners at Palio, but we eat there every year for our birthdays (did last night for my bday). We celebrated a friend's birthday here. I love MainStreet Ventures other restaurants so I really looked forward to eating at Palio. Service was excellent however the food was, at best, fair and extremely expensive compared to the quality. When an issue arose prior to ordering I went to speak with the manager. Anybody who has lived in a city with good Italian food should avoid Palio. If you're from some place in Iowa and grew up thinking Chef Boy-ar-Dee is Italian food, you'll be more satisfied. If you're used to eating in mall restaurants with fakey Italian or Chinese decor, you'll be impressed, otherwise, you'll be embarrassed. more
