Angeloni's II reminded me of Italian restaurants I grew up with in Upstate New York, before Olive Garden and its ilk came around. Not everything has to be glitzy in AC -- the "real" Atlantic City can be found at Angelonis II... The food is what you'd expect your Italian grandmother (like mine) to cook. I had Veal Parmesan and my husband had pasta -- they were both excellent!! The service was laid back -- not rushed but good. The value was incredible... more

Excellent Italian food. You gotta try the Brocolli Rhaab, and the Jersey tomatoe salad. Both are excellent! They have an extensive wine list. Small and dimly lit, it is a great secret in Atlantic City! I'll be back! more

Took a business group here for dinner. Great atmosphere, funny waiter, so-so food. Lots of Little Italy pomp and circumstance. Kind of mom and pop Italian at higher prices. Skip the salads and seafood and go for the steaks. more
