Everything here is excellent, but it came with the price of slow service when I was there. We did have a large (9) party, but we spent at least 3 hours there. In the end we were among the last people in the place waiting for our bill. more

An unexpected touch of old fashioned formality in the middle of the desert. Housed in a victorian home just off the main route through Alamogordo, the Memories restaurant specializes in seafood and specializes very well. My family and I went on a day outing from El Paso TX to Alamogordo New Mexico and were pleasantly surprised by "Memories" restaurant. Wonderful decorations, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, sweet, repeatable memories. more

Memories is set inside a 1920's style house that has been decorated to within an inch of its life and filled with enough Victorian-style knick-knacks to make you nauseous, but at least it has plenty of atmosphere.
