Great food. Exercise patience and bring your own snacks so you don't die of hunger before waitresses come. We don't know who manager is but clearly owners are in a coma.
Something seems to have happened to Ryoshi after their move from Jl. Raya to downtown Hanoman a few years ago. The intimacy of the old place has been replaced by a cantina feeling, and the staff enthusiasm seem to have vanished. Service, food and prices are okay. I had the large mixed sushi plate, some pieces were very good, other... More
The food was good, but not great. Staff were awfull.....after finishing meal nobody came to clear the table or asking if we want something else. It took ages to get chance ask for bill and it wasn't busy at all.
Ubud is full of charming locations. This Japanese restaurant is located on one of the busiest streets, but is removed from the street by a parking space, which is value in itself. Mostly parking space is rare. In the seating area your view is more oriented towards the open back than towards the street. That gives a pleasant atmosphere. The... More
We looked at a number of Japanese restaurants in Ubud for an evening meal and settled on here based on price, location and reviews which were not overly critical. The skewers are particularly good - two butterfish skewers, separated by slices of leeks, for 17,000 literally melt in your mouth. I've also tried the chicken, pork and leek and chicken... More
Though it is located close to a busy street, Ryoshi is a peaceful place with a pleasant Japanese theme. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was excellent with generous sizes, and while it's not the cheapest place you'll eat in Ubud, it's worth the slight premium if you are happy to pay it. The vodka cocktails are generous and very... More
The ambiance is comforting and the food is amazing. A huge menu, but what we had was omg. We had salted fish as an appetizer and Sushi sets with rice, chicken, sashimi, tempura veggies and some other thing I didn't know what it was. but was salty and delicious. Reasonable priced for what we ate.
great ambience and fantastic japanese faire! You will find it easily along the main road hear the dirty duck restaurant. No need to book, abundant seating and easily accessed.
