Nothing to dislike, the place is great and offers a number of Thai and Western dishes and the desserts are exceptional too. The service is wonderful and you can check out the books in the well stocked book shop. More

Came to udon from bangkok for a few days, a discovered this gem what a fantastic menu! We ate a Lamb sunday roast with all the trimmings mint sauce, sausage meat stuffing yorkshire pud etc , also had steaks homemade cakes just fantastic, and I eat in some top quality places in BKK, also its a great place to chill... Huge selection of different types of food. The different breakfasts alone have their own menu. Good food, always well cooked & they will put together just about anything even if not on the menu. Jeremy & Nok are great hosts as well...always ready for a few words, even ehrn it is its usual busy self!! More

The cookhouse has been a fixture in Udon, Thailand where westerners and locals could satisfy their appetites as well as buy or trade books. The new location provides an open airy feel to dinning as well as a beautiful view of Nong Sim lake. I make a point to take my Sunday Roast there each week. More
