Had to check out Sam's after reading the reviews. Everything was great. The service was outstanding. Hadn't been able to get my son to eat much on our trip but he killed the ribs and filet mignon with all of the trimmings at Sam's. The huge pot of curry soup was outstanding and no, you cannot get the recipe. Topped... more

Sam's by the Sea (Awase) is a rustic, warf atmosphered resturant located along the Pacific Coast of Okinawa. Our last visit was August 1, 2008. We arrived without reservations, not recommended, but were immediately seated. The wait staff was exceptional. They never hovered or interrupted, but they were immediately at the table as soon as something was finished or needed.... more
